Transalpine Run 2026

The Dynafit Transalpine Run 2026, in collaboration with Garmin, will start on August 28, 2026, in Lenzerheide and conclude after seven days and 250 kilometers, on September 3, with a grand finale in Locarno on Lake Maggiore. Other stage locations will include Ilanz, Vrin, Olivone, Biasca, and the Verzasca Valley.

The completely new route promises a unique atmosphere, blending Alpine and Mediterranean environments, along with spectacular and, in some places, very remote trails. Highlights include the Rhine Gorge (Rheinschlucht), the Greina Plateau, ancient Ticino mule trails, and Lake Maggiore. Route details will be announced well in advance of registration.
