The formidable pianist Alexandre Kantorow at ‘OSI at LAC’

The Orchestra della Svizzera italiana welcomes for its next OSI concert at the LAC an extraordinary pianist, the 27-year-old Alexandre Kantorow, who has already been admired this summer in worldvision at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

Kantorow will be the star at the LAC Lugano on Thursday 7 November at 8.30 pm, soloist in Franz Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 2. On the podium will be compatriot Jérémie Rhorer, who will conduct the orchestra in Felix Mendelssohn ‘s Hebrides and in the suite from the ballet Le baiser de la fée (The Fairy's Kiss) by Igor Stravinsky.
