Scuola di Scultura a Morcote – Nouvelle édition 2026

From 21 March 2026, the Scuola di Scultura di Peccia presents a new exhibition under the arcades of Piazza Granda in Morcote.

The display focuses on figurative sculpture, placing the human body at the centre as an expression of posture, history and inner tension.

Featuring works by:

  • Giorgio Mondia – Mandela spacca l’ultima pietra
  • Carole Manser – La promessa
  • Sandra Veit – Asterisk*
  • Ursula Waltz – Achill

The sculptures engage in dialogue with the historic architecture and the light of Lake Lugano.

  • Followed by an aperitif at Bar Gandalf
