Recital by soprano Hilary Aeschliman

The I Barocchisti Association is delighted to open its 26/27 Season with a recital by the Ticino-born soprano Hilary Aeschliman, recent winner of the ‘Pergolesi’ International Baroque Singing Competition in Jesi.
Following her graduation from the Royal College of Music in London, the singer began a close collaboration with the Swiss Radio and Television Choir and with I Barocchisti, conducted by Diego Fasolis.

This prestigious opportunity has enabled her to specialise in early and Baroque music, whilst continuing to expand her opera repertoire in equal measure.

The event will take place on Sunday 18 October at 4:00 pm, to mark the opening of the new Vernate-Neggio School and in collaboration with Vernate Town Council. Hilary Aeschliman and I Barocchisti, led by Maestro Diego Fasolis on the harpsichord, will present a brilliant programme dedicated to soprano arias by George Frideric Handel and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
