GastroBellinzona Alto Ticino is organising the new "Autumn Gastronomic Fortnight" with the slogan "From km0 to Km broad". It will take place from 9th to 30th September to take advantage of a traditionally interesting month for gastronomy, thanks to the availability of many top-quality autumn products. From mushrooms to game, from pumpkin to chestnuts, not to mention seasonal vegetables and fruits, cheeses, cured meats, and all the other gems of Ticino's gastronomic heritage.
24 restaurants are participating in the Fortnight (3 guest restaurants outside the area as ambassadors); their names and dishes can be discovered on ticinoatavola.ch. In honour of the 2024 Week of Taste, each restaurant will offer a dish based on cereals.
The focus on local produce is emphasised by km 0, while the freedom to choose products or recipes not necessarily from Ticino is captured by a term we like: km... broad, non-local products but always of quality and representative of a specific territory. Km 0 or km broad? The important thing is that it’s a km... delicious!
