OSI returns with Lunch and evening concert

Thursday 28 September 2023 at 8:30 pm marks the opening of the new 2023/24 season of the OSI Concerts at the LAC. Principal conductor Markus Poschner, at the head of the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana and with the collaboration of the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, presents two masterpieces by Richard Strauss and Gustav Mahler respectively, the Vier letze Lieder for soprano and orchestra (soloist Erica Eloff) and the Sinfonia no. 1 known as Titano.

At 12:30 pm the eagerly awaited Lunch with OSI returns, a real musical lunch break in which Maestro Poschner and the OSI will explain to the audience the secrets of Mahler's First Symphony, alternating dialogues and anecdotes with musical moments with the Orchestra. At the end, a take-away lunch will be included in the ticket price.
