OSI al LAC with Poschner and Mönkemeyer

The third OSI concert at the LAC will take place on Thursday, 9 November 2023 at 8.30 p.m., with OSI Principal Conductor Markus Poschner. The concert will open with a work by Giacinto Scelsi, Anahit for solo violin (OSI konzertmeister Robert Kowalski) and 18 instruments. This is followed by Walter Braunfels' Scottish Fantasy for viola and orchestra, soloist the celebrated German violist Nils Mönkmeyer. The second part features Anton Bruckner's mighty Second Symphony.
