Series of cultural events to celebrate 225 years since the passage of pro-Cisalpine troops from Brusino Arsizio and 220 years since Napoleon Buonaparte's act of mediation.
220 years after the signing of the Act of Mediation that sanctioned the birth of the Canton of Ticino, the Municipality of Brusino Arsizio is proposing a series of events to celebrate the anniversary and retrace the epic deeds of Napoleon Bonaparte, questioning the historical legacy left to our latitudes by the Emperor of the French.
In the first part of the year, conferences, documentaries and in-depth discussions will be held, culminating in the official ceremony scheduled for Sunday, 7 May 2023, during which the Lugano Volunteer Corps will parade through the streets of Brusino.
