Migration – a photo exhibition by Darrin Zammit Lupi

In his work, the renowned Reuters photojournalist Darrin Zammit Lupi offers a unique view of the arduous journeys of migrants. The illustrated experiences of individuals are complemented by background information on important events in the field of migration over the last 30 years.

The Maltese Darrin Zammit Lupi, born in 1968, began his photographic career in 1992 with The Malta Independent daily newspaper. He then worked as a freelance photographer for the Reuters photo agency from 1996. During this time, he documented the refugee crises in and around the Mediterranean, among other things.
