Mangiainsem - Food and Wine Walk

A different way to spend a day in the company of friends and family, walking and enjoying local products and Ticino culinary delicacies.

Route

  • Departure from Monte Carasso, Convent
  • Start the journey to the Giubiasco FFS station
  • Transfer by train to Cadenazzo
  • Walk to the Precassino Mill and the La Vigna farmhouse
  • Transfer to Piazza Grande, Giubiasco, crossing the Copera cantonal arboretum in Sant'Antonino, the Vigana nucleus and the Motta Park biotope in Camorino
  • Final return to the Ancient Augustinian Convent by means of a tourist train

The route, 12.4 km long and with a 530 m difference in altitude, winds along hilly roads and paths and is therefore suitable for people in good physical shape, preferably wearing sportswear.
