MangiAbiasca 2022

MangiaBiasca 2022
17th September 2022

On Saturday 17th September, it will be possible to discover the Biasca area while tasting local products.

After a two-year forced hiatus, the 'mangiAbiasca' event, which combines the pleasures of local food and wine with the discovery of the territory, is back for its sixth edition.

The new route will wind its way through 11 tasting points, starting with breakfast at the Palaroller and then moving on for an initial snack at the Corti farm and a few more stops in the Sass Carnon area. Afterwards, the route will head towards the church of San Pietro and then lunch will be served in front of the clear pools of Santa Petronilla with a typical traditional menu, 'pascta e pomm'. After a pleasant descent, you will arrive at the historic courtyard of Casa Cavalier Pellanda where you can taste delicious local cheeses. This will be followed by a stop in the characteristic grotti area of Biasca where luganighetta stew with polenta and red wine will be served. The final stages will be held in the beautiful clearing in Piantagion with Ticino raclette accompanied by local wines, followed by bread cake and local ice cream.

Aperitif in music and barbecue

At 4.15 p.m. there will be an award ceremony for the most original group of the day and the best photo published on social media with the hashtag #mangiabiasca2022. The sixth edition of the event also presents a novelty: from 6 p.m. there will be a party open to all, offering an aperitif with music and a well-stocked grill. And at 8 p.m., the Osogna Project group will perform in concert.

The walk will be held in all weathers (two routes are planned, depending on weather conditions). The route is 6 km long, suitable for people with a minimum of fitness but not suitable for buggies. Clothing and footwear suitable for walking in the mountains is always recommended.
