From the very beginning, the Festival has placed great importance on its programme for children and families, offering a valid and stimulating alternative for spending quality leisure time together outdoors during the summer.
The rich and varied programme includes a wide range of free events from shows to readings and creative workshops. The activities have been designed for children aged 0 to 12 years old, guaranteeing fun for all tastes.
The Family Village (link), a safe and welcoming play area for children and families, will be set up once again this year during the Festival, with lots of great games and carefully-selected books for all ages. The Village, located inside the Palazzo dei Congressi Convention Centre and in the gardens of the Parco Ciani next door, will be open every day from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
This year, throughout the entire Festival period, the Family Village will host the travelling photograph exhibition by Pro Familia Svizzera Italiana entitled "Families - exploring the past, imagining the future".
