Retrospettiva Fratelli Guillaume

This outdoor screening at Palco Fleur (Parco Ciani) in Lugano showcases a curated selection of acclaimed short films by the Swiss directors Samuel and Frédéric Guillaume.

Fred and Sam Guillaume are highly celebrated figures in independent European animation. Their distinct style moves away from large-scale commercial models in favor of symbolic, auteur-driven cinema that tackles themes like social exclusion, identity, and personal transformation.

This summer retrospective features three of their standout short and mid-length films:

• Le conte des sables d'or (2015) – 23m 47s
• Sur le pont (2022) – 47m 52s

The event is organized by GSIFA (Gruppo della Svizzera Italiana del Film di Animazione) as a featured cinematic segment of the LongLake Festival.

Venue: Palco Fleur at Parco Ciani. The event will take place at Studio Foce in case of rain.
