Luceat: Easter Concert

This Easter, Luceat presents a concert with a slightly different feel than usual.

Our most loyal listeners already know that in May we will perform Anton Bruckner's Mass in F minor, in collaboration with the Choir of the University and Young Musical Choirs of Fribourg: a project of great scope in terms of both ensemble and size.

The concert on April 5, 2026, in Locarno will be more intimate yet intense. With 10 choristers and 8 instrumentalists, Luceat offers a varied program spanning the sacred repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries (from the heights of Bach's music to Byrd's Renaissance to Handel's arias) alongside contemporary choral sounds by Gjeilo and excerpts from the celebrated solo concertos for oboe and trumpet by Marcello and Torelli.
