La Regionale

The exhibition spaces on the first floor of Villa Ciani host the productions of 20 artists as part of La Regionale - Mostra d'arte della Svizzera italiana, the biennial collective exhibition curated by ACXSI that aims to enhance and promote the vibrant art scene in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. The aim of this second edition is to nurture a platform for intergenerational meeting and multidisciplinary confrontation in constant dialogue with the territory.

The disciplinary variety of this edition's assortment - which brings together visual arts, plastic arts, installations, performing arts and multimedia - seeks to render as heterogeneous an image as possible of the art scene in Ticino and Italian-speaking Graubünden, and includes works of:
