La Delio Valdez + La Combi

ROAM represents a space, a moment, a carefully curated selection, off the beaten path. Each performance comes to life in a suspended micro-world made up of music and atmospheres that are impossible to replicate. A true outdoor club, where music is experienced up close, in an intimate setting within the unique surroundings of the Boschetto del Parco Ciani. ROAM is part of the packed event calendar of the Lugano LongLake Festival, which will enliven the Lugano summer from July 9 to 26, 2026.

La Delio Valdez
A cumbia orchestra founded in Buenos Aires in 2009. With about 15 musicians, it offers a modern reinterpretation of the Latin American orchestral tradition, drawing inspiration from the great tango orchestras of the 1950s. Their sound blends cumbia, salsa, rock, jazz, and reggae, maintaining a strong collective and self-managed identity, while also addressing social and popular themes.

La Combi
A band active since 2009 that brings together European and Latin American musicians. The group reworks traditional South American rhythms such as cumbia, milonga, and candombe, blending them with jazz and contemporary influences. Rooted in the independent scene of Italian-speaking Switzerland, the band has developed a “hybrid” sound that reflects the diverse cultural and musical experiences of its members.
