Greina Trail

The Greina Trail is planned again for this year and offers four types of high mountain challenges:

Val Da Camp Trail

14.5 km - Positive and negative altitude difference 980 metres
Start: Saturday, 19 August 2023 at 10 a.m.

Departure from Campo Blenio up the road to Fopp Zott before descending and crossing the Orsera mountains. A spectacular ascent will lead you to the Bovarina Hut and then down to the Predasca Alp and continue the descent through the enchanting Lariceto forest, almost unique in Ticino with its typical cores, before finishing at Campo Blenio.

Classic Trail

27 km - positive and negative altitude difference 1440 metres
Departure: Saturday, 19th August 2023 at 9.00 a.m.

A CLASSIC one. Now in its forth year, our most successful route. An amazing landscape. The Greina accompanies the athletes through its best views. A competition without discounts. Lots of athletes, lots of sport and lots of fun.
 

Walking

9 km - positive and negative altitude difference 550 metres
Start: Sunday 20 August 2023 at 10 a.m.

The popular walking route of medium difficulty starts and finishes at Campo Blenio.
The route runs mostly on dirt roads and red and white paths.
It ascends from the right-hand side in the direction of Fopp Zott, passing through the Orsera village centre and returning from the opposite bank via Risareta in the direction of Campo Blenio.
 

Vertical Töira

4.50 km - Positive height difference 900 metres
Start: Sunday 20 August 2023 at 09.45 a.m.

An exciting climb, breathtaking in its effort and beauty. An indescribable panorama. Magical.

Kids Trail

At the race village you will find an obstacle course suitable for children from the age of 4.

All children/youths between the ages of 4 and 12 can participate by registering for a fee of Fr. 5 on the morning of the race at the info point (10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.).
