Gospel & Spirituals - Duke Fisher Heritage Singers

For 30 years, Free Green Music has been organizing six Gospel concerts in December with the best groups on the international scene. The concerts are held in Losone, Bellinzona, Locarno, Airolo and San Bernardino.

On Sunday, December 15 at 5:00 p.m., the San Giovanni Church in Bellinzona will host the Gospel concert by the Duke Fisher Heritage Singers.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, the cradle of the Southern Sound, the group led by Nathaniel "Duke" Fisher will recreate the authentic atmosphere of Southern U.S. churches and their Black Music. A talented singer, pianist, and choir director who shapes the best solo voices among the Heritage Singers, Fisher, with a versatile background in Soul, Pop, and R'n'B, and classical piano training, finds Gospel as his truest form of expression. From traditional spirituals to universally known modern Gospel songs, this concert will be filled with joy and energy.
