Gabriel Fauré's Requiem

The Coro Lauretano of Lugano, in collaboration with the Coro GoodCompany of Varese and accompanied by the orchestra composed of students of the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, will perform the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

Lugano was in fact the favorite summer destination of Fauré and the Coro Lauretano intends to pay homage to this great composer on the occasion of the first centenary of his death. The concert will end with the Amazing Grace by J. Newton in an arrangement by A. Motta for choir, bagpipes and orchestra.
