This experience combines a panoramic rail journey with a sensory workshop dedicated to fragrances and the history of Eau de Cologne.

About the experience

This day trip with the Ferrovia Vigezzina-Centovalli leads to Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most charming villages in the Valle Vigezzo. The programme centres on a workshop at the Casa del Profumo, a symbolic place linked to the history of Eau de Cologne.

The railway route passes gorges, forests, bridges and characteristic villages, making it one of Europe’s most scenic rail journeys. At the end of the day, participants take home their own fragrance creation.

Participation in the workshop costs an additional EUR 35 on top of the train fare.Booking is required for the workshop.
