Fish festival

Event postponed to Sunday, March 29 2026

The traditional fish festival takes place at Piazzale Burbaglio in Muralto. The event is organized by the fish association of Sant’Andrea and begins early in the morning with a fishing contest, followed by celebration, music and games for children. In case of bad weather, the fish festival will be taking place on one of the following Sundays. 

The program includes:
6.30 a.m.: start of the fishing contest
10 a.m.: start of the celebration
10.30 a.m.: aperitivo "pro ripopolamento alborelle fritte e vino bianco
12.30 p.m. : lunch for the fishermen and sympathizers with polenta and merluzzo
2.30 p.m.: prize-giving for the fishing contes
3 p.m.: distribution of alborelle until sold out.
