Festival Poestate 2026

The Poestate festival, founded thirty years ago in Lugano, Switzerland, was a pioneering event that left a deep mark on the cultural activities of Lugano and the Canton of Ticino, because at that time there were no poetry festivals, no literary events, nothing of the sort. so much so that in the years that followed, Poestate paved the way for various literary events and festivals that followed in its footsteps, and consequently also paved the way for publishing productions, which until then had been few and far between.

The Poestate festival, founded in Lugano three decades ago, is the first in terms of history and the most important in terms of impressive historiography in Switzerland. Each edition is a success, with numerous extraordinary guests, from local to international, high participation rates and a high frequency of projects, all accompanied by a fantastic audience in the splendid small Patio of the Palazzo Civico in Lugano.
