Born in Basel on March 23rd,1954 his painting technique is unpretentious, but he consistently conducts a precise and serious formal and ideological research, leading to extraordinary expressive authenticity.  With his technique, the artist isolates the figurative nucleus, thus tending towards renewal of the art. He manages to fixate an immediate impression through careful analyses and incisive signs.
