Elgar's Cello Concerto and Dvořák's Eighth on April 16 at "OSI al LAC"
The famous Cello Concerto by Edward Elgar will be at the center of the "OSI al LAC" concert on next April 16, performed by the French cellist Camille Thomas on her extraordinary 1710 Stradivarius. On the podium is Joseph Bastian, who replaced Juanjo Mena: under his direction, OSI will also present the lively Eighth Symphony by Antonín Dvořák as well as the most famous piece (Estancia) by the greatest Argentine composer of the twentieth century, Alberto Ginastera.
