Casa Rotonda, Corzoneso
The Casa Rotonda, opened to the public in 2003 as the home of the Donetta Archive, has so far hosted more than fifty exhibitions, and this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary. To celebrate, the Casa Rotonda will see images taken by Donetta in the early decades of the 20th century compared with those of a contemporary photographer.
On 10 June, there will be the opening of the exhibition "Two Valleys, Two Visions. Stephan Kelly/Roberto Donetta: a photographic conversation", which presents a dozen black and white works taken in the mountains of the Onsernone valley by the young British photographer Stephen Kelly (who has been living in Ticino for some years now) juxtaposed with as many Donettian shots.
