Exhibition "Acclimatisation Garden. In dialogue with the Swiss Post art collection".

In addition to museum collections, Switzerland boasts significant, lesser-known and less visible public art collections. Among these is the Swiss Post collection, which is based on a federal ordinance for the enhancement and promotion of Swiss art and has existed for around 100 years. Swiss Post now takes the opportunity to celebrate its long tradition of artistic support, offering an overview of its extensive work in collaboration with several Swiss museums.

At Villa dei Cedri, the dialogue focuses on founding themes of the Museum’s identity, such as the relationship between humans and nature, the natural habitat of species, or acclimatisation – the need to adapt to a changing environment. From the Intimités of Félix Vallotton to works generated in collaboration with artificial intelligence by Dorota Gaweda & Eglé Kulbokaité, the exhibition reflects – not without a certain irony – the various facets of adaptation required by life on Earth and technological evolution.
