After last year's great success, the Culture, Events and Sport Department of Mendrisio is delighted to present the second classical music season of the Concerti dei Serviti, which will see internationally renowned musicians perform in the magnificent village.
The 4 scheduled concerts will take place in the spaces of the convent complex of S. Giovanni (the Church of S. Giovanni, the Cloister of the Serviti and the large hall of the Art Museum) and in the Parish Church in Mendrisio. As in the previous season, the City of Mendrisio has chosen to offer tickets for all concerts at the single, low price of CHF 30. The last concert will instead be offered to the entire population with free admission, and will feature the premiere of the Stabat Mater commissioned from composer Ivo Antognini in honour of the Historical Processions. The event is supported by Coop Cultura.
