5 sopranos, 4 contraltos, 2 tenors and 4 basses, conducted by maestro Claudio Sartore, founder of the Alto Ticino Choir (CAT) in 2021, will offer an autumn concert in Dalpe, in the church of S. Carlo, on Saturday 26 October 2024 at 5.30 p.m., offering a varied repertoire. Free admission.
CAT choir presentation
The Coro Alto Ticino (CAT) was founded in 2021 on the initiative of Claudio Sartore, an accordion and piano teacher and choir director, who was able to enthuse and involve a group of friends (most with choral experience behind them, some skilled musicians) in this new experience.
Popular and dialectal songs, light music, classical and sacred literature, songs from every corner of the world...: a varied and colourful repertoire for this vocal group that meets regularly in Lodrino for the pleasure of singing together and with the aim of offering concerts and emotions to the population.

The Airolese Fisorchestra
The Airolese Fisorchestra consists of six accordions and a double bass, and is joined by its Music School and the Mini Fisorchestra, the children's group. Directed by Maestro Mario Milani, it proposes innovative pieces, where the virtuoso's technique intersects with the interpretation of the most varied musical colours. The pieces on offer are for the most part composed by Mario Milani and run through a variety of sounds, from Argentinean to others with varying rhythms, where ‘Allegro con brio’, ‘Andante’, ‘Sarabanda’, ‘Giga’ and other movements alternate, arousing varied emotions.
