Christmas Market of Santa Lucia in Massagno

Organized from the beginning by Pro Massagno, the traditional Santa Lucia Christmas Market saw the light of day in December 1984 - it was one of the first to be organized in Ticino - and this year it therefore celebrates its 40th birthday. The appointment is set for Saturday 14 December 2024 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the terrace of the gym of the elementary schools of Nosedo.

The event is coordinated by Pro Massagno in collaboration with about twenty local associations: on colorful stalls are offered creations and products for every taste, ranging from sweets to handmade objects to culinary delights, liqueurs, grill and many other delicacies. The event is enlivened by the Christmas music of the Zampognari del Piano and the cheerful local notes of the Tacalà and often also by some other surprise interlude. In addition, young and old alike will be able to test their sporting skills on the (artificial) ice rink set up right next to the stalls. We look forward to seeing you!
