August 1st Concert of the Civica Filarmonica di Lugano

On August 1st, 2023, on the occasion of the Swiss National Day, the Civica Filarmonica di Lugano will hold its traditional concert in Piazza della Riforma. The event, which will take place from 9:45 PM to 10:15 PM, promises to be once again an unforgettable musical experience. The concert program, always directed by Maestro Franco Cesarini, includes a series of eclectic and engaging pieces. It will open with "A Glorious Fanfare" by Franco Cesarini, followed by selections from "Les Misérables" by Claude-Michel Schönberg and "Jesus Christ Superstar" by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The audience will also have the opportunity to listen to "Jamaican Folk Suite" by Harold Laurence Walters, "Latin Gold!" by various authors, "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson, "Funiculì Funiculà" by Luigi Denza, and "Abba Gold" by Ulvaeus-Andersson.
