In the charming context of the Hotel Villa Carona’s garden, the ensemble in residence of CaronAntica will present in a concert-matinee a lovely bouquet of the French Baroque repertoire, with excerpts from the trio sonatas by Marin Marais, Jacques Hotteterre le Romain and also pieces from a female composer, Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, who had the support and admiration of King Louis XIV, being part of the circle of intellectual women who marked the court of Roy Soleil.
