On 27, 28 and 29 September 2024, Bellinzona will host the Lumberjack Pentathlon and the Swiss and European Timbersport Championships! The event will be held at the Parco Urbano.
Sports woodcutting enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a weekend full of competitions, entertainment, stalls, music, gastronomy and much more!
The event will start on Friday with the official opening and the Swiss Timbersports Championships in the youth category.
Saturday will focus mainly on the Woodcutter's Pentathlon accompanied by a forestry fair and a craft market. There will also be the Mini Pentathlon for young people, the Swiss Women's Timbersports Championship, chainsaw carving and pole climbing competitions, and lastly the Swiss Men's Timbersports Championship.
Sunday will continue with the forestry fair and craft market, the qualifications for the European Timbersports Championships, the Mini Pentathlon and the finals of the Timbersports European Trophy.
During the three days, there will be no shortage of aperitifs, lunches and dinners thanks to the Food Trucks and the Shed. Each evening will be enlivened by concerts with live music.
