10th agricultural day in the Leventina Valley and 32nd cheese fair

Farming day and Leventina cheese exhibition

Opportunity to taste and buy the best of the Leventine Alps' cheese production. Once again this year, the cheese exhibition will be flanked by the event called "Leventina Farming Day", with cattle arriving on site during the morning via a short transhumance. The Filarmonica Alta Leventina and vintage tractors will accompany the transhumance. Various animals will be on display, including cows, goats, horses, donkeys, sheep, hens and rabbits.

 

Programme

09.00 - 16.00

Exhibition of cows, goats, horses, donkeys, rabbits, hens and sheep. Tasting and sale of cheeses from the Leventine Alps.

10.00

Transhumance accompanied by the Filarmonica Alta Leventina and vintage tractors

12.00 - 14.00

Lunch at the hut

During the day horse rides for children and AgriStaffetta.

Musical entertainment with La Bandella del Ritom and Gruppo Corni delle Alpi da Curzönas.
