On the edge of the village, the last waterfall of the Nála stream descends into a large natural pool surrounded by boulders and slabs of rock that have been carved out by water and the elements over the centuries. In summer this beautiful pool turns into a lido—the ideal place to spend a fun-filled day, cool down and relax immersed in nature.
Pozzón is also the checkpoint for canyoning enthusiasts, who can practice this extreme sport sliding down the ideal water flumes of the Nála stream canyons, plunging into deep-water pools and abseiling down the beautiful rocks into the crystal-clear water of this truly spectacular spot. In the same picturesque area of the Pozzón pool is the Grotto al Pozzón, where people like to retreat from the summer heat to taste Ticino’s exquisite cuisine whilst enjoying the cool air and the beautiful scenery of the waterfall and the pool.
