Piscina Comunale San Martino Mendrisio

The public swimming pool of Mendrisio is situated on the San Martino plain.

The establishment has an area of 14’500 sqm, and is composed of: 

• Olympic swimming pool – ml 50 x 21 x 1.80/1.40
• Leisure swimming pool – ml 25 x 15 x 1.20/0.60
• Children swimming pool – mq 60

The swimming pools find themselves in a big green area, with many trees. There is a refreshment area with service of meals and drinks, and a beach volley field. The public swimming pool offers many entertainment and sports activities, such as daily courses of Aquagym. 

Accessibility Services
This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
