The B&B Ar Convént is located inside one of the oldest monasteries of the Capuchin Order in the world: the Monastery of Santa Maria del Bigorio. Founded in 1535, it boasts a long tradition of hospitality. Since 1967 it has been a place of religious, spiritual, and cultural education for people seeking a simple, warm home where both body and soul can be regenerated.
The renovated rooms and decorations are inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures, a poetic text by St Francis of Assisi dating back to 1224. The song is a praise to God and his Creatures, a profound hymn to life.
Every room is different, modern and spartan, with neutral colors and natural materials. All bedrooms feature comfortable bedding and high quality linens.
Rooms that do not have in-room toilets can use the shared bathrooms and showers (with private boxes) located on the floor.
