This area provides a broad range of walks through the chestnut woods, suitable for families.
Among the dense chestnut woods, one still finds traces of the antique peasant culture with a few openings offering views over Bellinzona castles and the Magadino Plains.
Two other noteworthy features are a visit to the S. Bernardo church and the old centre of Curzútt, where a hotel is now located.
Featuring panoramic views over the Bellinzona region, a «grotto», two lakes and a «launching
base» for paragliding... Mornera is a mountain waiting to be discovered.
