The Grotto is located on the slope of Monte Generoso in a charateristich area nominated “Cantine”. You can easily reach the place from the motorway release of Mendrisio or using the normal road as well. This Grotto is run with passion and enthusiasm by Flavio Quadranti, also called “Mamo”, since august 2006.
The gastronomic offer privileges, besides the typical cuisine, grill meats and seasonal specialties, accompanied by a furnished choice of regional wines and not.
The Grotto San Martino has two pleasant rooms of respectively 30 and 40 seats. During summer there is a fresh 20-seat “grottino” and an ample panoramic terrace with 80 seats at disposal. Under request we do organize rich buffets to celebrate events of any kind.
