Small masonry building, unique refectory with fireplace for 10 people, kitchen is wood and gas complete with equipment. Wood heating, gas lighting, beds with wool blankets.
The refuge, located at 2023 meters above sea level, overlooks the sunny side of Val Pontirone just below the ridge that divides Val Pontirone from Val Combra (side valley of Val Malvaglia), from Biasagn you have a view of the whole valley.
It was renovated in 1985 by the Patriziato also thanks to the collaboration of several citizens of Biasca.
The refuge has 4 beds and is always open, the key is located on the front door.

It can be reached from Fontana, following the path for Mazzorino until you reach Biasagn (about 2 hours).
