The restaurant La Fürbeda is located in Dandrio, 1200 msm, in the picturesque Malvaglia Valley.
Reachable by car in 30 minutes from Malvaglia (Serravalle), the scenery here is truly unique.
The Fürbeda waterfall of the same name surrounds this nucleus composed of about eighty perfectly restored and preserved typical houses, which until the mid-20th century were inhabited all year round.
There are several testimonies that we can still admire such as the old Mill (open once a year for the traditional Dandrio Mill Day, every second Sunday in July), the small church dedicated to San Giovanni, and much more.
Last but not least, the old schoolhouse, now perfectly restored, which serves as an alpine house.
Homemade products and home-cooked meals are served here.
Also available are a dozen beds divided into two separate rooms (with separate bathrooms).
The ideal place for those seeking a moment of tranquility and refreshment in a hot summer while enjoying idyllic scenery.
