From Rivera you climb towards Monte Ceneri on a circular cross-country route; between paved and dirt roads you reach Monti di Medeglia. Hard ground and single-track lead to Isone and Gola di Lago. At Alpe Davrosio proceed along a panoramic path, dirt road and single-track, until Alpe Piandanazzo, from where a dirt road leads to the Monte Bar alpine hut to enjoy the wonderful view.
Then continue until you reach Monti di Medeglia on a paved road, from here you cycle along a panoramic dirt road to the summit of Cima di Medeglia. Go back towards the mountains in the direction of Isone on a road on an alternating paved and unpaved road; from Isone, take the road towards Gola di Lago over hard ground followed by single-track. From here continue up to Alpe Davrosio on hard ground and from the alp to Piandanazzo along a wide scenic dirt road that becomes single-track towards the end. From Piandanazzo continue up to the panoramic Capanna Monte Bar mountain hut on a dirt road.
