DescriptionOur old stone cottage is a typical local « rustico », originally a small rural barn. It was built in 1813 in Terra di fuori, a hamlet which has largely preserved its original rural character and has been awarded a prize from the Swiss Heritage Society. Terra di Fuori is a part of the village of Avegno. The house consists of three rooms on three floors. On the ground floor you will find a cosy kitchen-family room with a big fireplace. On the first floor there is a small twin bedroom with its own small balcony and a bathroom with basin, shower and bath and toilet. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with tree beds; it has a hot/warm basin. A baby cot is available for our youngest guests. In summer a cool pergola doubles as another pleasant living room. The house profits from wood-fired central heating and can be used throughout the year.
