The Alnéid farm, located outside the village of Campo Blenio and owned by Giuliano Martinelli, has been a family dairy farm for several generations.
Today there are about 42 cows and about 30 young cattle (heifers, heifers and calves) on the farm, and 6-7 pigs are raised between September and November.
Our products include the "crenga" (cheese) made by Giuliano Our products include 'crenga' (formaggella) made by Giuliano in autumn and spring (the rest of the year the milk is delivered to the dairy) and cheese from Alpe Predasca. In fact, our cows go to Alpe Predasca in the summer while we stay 'on the plain' making hay. The farm covers about 55 hectares. We also have fattening calves that go to a large distributor and are subject to the IP Suisse programme.
During the summer, we have a self-service shop with Alpe Predasca products and our own delicatessen. In addition, we offer picnic bags complete with local products: anyone who wants to enjoy a genuine lunch in nature can come to us where they will find everything they need!
Finally, in addition to our farming activities, we organise events at the barn, such as weddings, country parties, hen parties, etc. We also offer guided tours for families, groups or people interested in the barn and the wine cellar.
