Underwater Nativity Lugano

On Sunday 15th December from 5 p.m., at the Rivetta Tell in Lugano, until January the 6th, Lake Lugano will host the floating 120 cm high statues of the friends of the submerged crib. The inauguration will begin with a panettonata offered with mulled wine, followed by the ‘calicanto di Brunello’ bagpipers, the performance of the Pregassona choir and the magical songs of tenor Alessandro Veletta accompanied by harpist Eleonora Ligabo. Finally, there will be a torchlight procession on the lake with divers and fishermen with their boats lit up for the blessing of the baby Jesus performed by Bishop Alain de Raemy.
