The great voice of Marina Viotti to celebrate New Year's Eve, Lugano

The eagerly awaited New Year's Eve Concert with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana returns, on Tuesday 31 December 2024 at 6 p.m. at the LAC.

The star of the evening will be mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti, one of the most interesting voices of the new generation and well-known to the general public for her world-vision performance this summer at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.

With her will be bass Christian Zaremba, while conductor Iñaki Encina Oyón will take the podium in a sparkling programme that alternates famous bel canto music with original excursions into more modern genres.
