A LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura, RSI Radiotelevisione Svizzera, LuganoInScena, LuganoMusica Production Ah, che bel vivere, che bel piacere (Ah, isn't life good, how pleasant it is): lyric opera debuts in Lugano. Gioachino Rossini's masterpiece the Barber of Seville will be performed at LAC under the direction of Maestro Diego Fasolis on a stage arranged by the director Carmelo Rifici, for a total of four performances. Fasoli will direct the Barocchisti and Swiss Coro della Radiotelevisione Svizzera and the outstanding cast including Edgardo Rocha in the role of Count Almaviva, Lucia Cirillo as Rosina, and Giorgio Caoduro as Figaro. The production is part of the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the death of Rossini, and is based on the original scores.
