Rachel Z and Omar Hakim are versatile musicians with world-class experience, spanning jazz, fusion, and pop music. Rachel has collaborated with Peter Gabriel, Wayne Shorter, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Al Di Meola, and Steps Ahead, and boasts 13 albums as a bandleader. Omar Hakim, trained under Elvin Jones and Art Blakey, rose to prominence as the drummer for Weather Report and has worked with Miles Davis, George Benson, John Scofield, and in the studio with stars like Sting, Bowie, Dire Straits, and Madonna. Joining them for this acoustic project is bassist Jonathan Toscano, a prominent figure on the New York jazz scene.
