On 14th September 2024, the Race of Hope will arrive at Castel Grande in Bellinzona.
For this 19th edition, the organisers have decided to move closer to the public by bringing the event to the capital, where Bios+, the Centre for Biomedical Research of Italian-speaking Switzerland, is based.
The day will be full of performances, which will accompany attendees from the start of the Race of Hope at 11:30 am and will continue through lunch and into the afternoon.
From 10:00 am, registration will be open for those who haven't had the chance to purchase their tickets in advance.
This is a non-competitive event; you can run, march, or simply stroll. It is a race for both athletes and non-athletes: families, schools, organisations, children, grandparents, and doctors alike.
Thanks to the contributions collected each year by the Race of Hope, the Cancer Research Foundation in Ticino ensures funding for oncology research conducted in Ticino.
The Race of Hope strongly believes in the beauty of moments that become special, just like when we meet and the gaze of many people with different stories and backgrounds looks in the same direction.
Thanks to the supporters, approximately 70,000 CHF are donated to research every year. More information is available on the website www.corsadellasperanza.ch.
From 28th August 2024, it will be possible to purchase participation kits and support research at various points of sale across Ticino.
From 10:00 am, Castel Grande will be ready to welcome you for a day of hope and smiles.
Each of us can make a difference.
