Bruzella Mill Festival
The traditional meeting place on the banks of the Breggia for a cheerful day.
As every year, the Ethnographic Museum of the Muggio Valley organizes the traditional festival of the Mill, this time on the last Sunday of August.
Lunch will take place in the picturesque setting of the mill (from 12:00):
- corn bread with cold cuts and cheeses
- polenta prepared with flour ground on the spot
- lüganigheta and scigoll (by popular demand!)
- eggs in cereghin
- polenta uncia
- homemade cakes
Popular music, supplied buvettes, gastronomic specialties, lottery, and the opportunity to visit both the active Mill (which will offer for sale the products of the traditional milling) and the permanent exhibition From the mill to the paper mill.
For children and adults this year we will have the moment of the story with the fascinating stories of Andrea Jacot Descombes.
Given the limited availability of parking, we strongly encourage you to use public transport to reach the mill, which is located about 15 minutes walk from the village of Bruzella (first head towards Cabbio on the cantonal road, then descend along the mule track that starts on the left of the road).
In case of bad weather, the phone number 1600 will provide information about the event.
The Muggio Valley Ethnographic Museum and the Friends of the Bruzella Mill are waiting for you many to spend together a moment of joy and conviviality!
