Run of the 7 Churches

On Saturday, 12 October 2024, the seventh edition of the "Seven Churches Race" will take place in the village of Bassa Valle Leventina, starting and finishing in the beautiful square of the Leventina Museum.

Athletes will be able to compete on the classic 7 km running route with an altitude difference of 165 m and a walking route.

The entire event, including the Kids races, will take place in the morning and the races are included in the official ASTi 2023 calendar.

The tracks will wind through the historic part of the village until reaching the hamlet of Altirolo, thus being able to experience the beauty of a place rich in culture enclosed in a beautiful natural setting.

At midday, there will be the opportunity to delight in an excellent slice of pizza, offered to all runners, again in the square of the Leventina Museum, which, for the occasion, will be open and accessible to those interested, as will all 7 churches.

The organising committee, hoping to find the athletes who have run through the streets of our village in past editions and to meet new ones, awaits you numerous in Giornico.
